The National Energy Efficiency Policy and Action Plan 2026–2035, commonly referred to as NEEAP 2.0, sets three interrelated targets that underscore the government's commitment to sustainability and economic resilience: RM85.24 billion in direct utility savings, a reduction in national energy demand of 11.6 per cent, and cumulative energy conservation of 815,383 terajoules by the end of 2035.
