The company's platform detects suspicious indicators including newly created email addresses, computer clocks configured to different time zones than claimed locations, virtual private network usage designed to mask geographic location, and IP addresses moving across global distances at physically impossible speeds. In one documented case, a Persona client identified a prospect impersonating a Coinbase employee using information lifted from a legitimate employee's verified LinkedIn profile.
These verification innovations leverage forensic metadata analysis combined with modern biometric technology previously developed for aviation, voting, military, and government applications.
