The Gambling Suppression and Vice Prevention Unit of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) conducted two separate enforcement operations on Sunday, June 14, in the Brunei-Muara District, resulting in the detention of two local women suspected of engaging in immoral activities.

Authorities arrested a 39-year-old woman at a rented premises in Kampong Salambigar during the first raid. She faces allegations of involvement in prohibited activities. In a simultaneous operation in Kampong Lumapas, officers apprehended a 29-year-old woman on suspicion of abetting and participating in similar unlawful conduct.

Both detainees were transported to the unit's office along with evidence collected during the enforcement actions for subsequent questioning and investigation.

The RBPF stated it remains committed to dismantling vice operations and addressing moral offences as part of its broader effort to uphold public order and safeguard community standards.
