Malaysia Removes 12,353 Deepfake Posts in First Half of 2024
Malaysia's communications regulator has successfully removed 12,353 deepfake posts since January, achieving a 94 per cent success rate in content takedown requests. The crackdown reflects growing concerns over AI-generated fraud.
