EU Lawmakers Back Temporary Rules for Tech Giants to Combat Child Abuse Material While Protecting Encrypted Messaging
The European Parliament has voted to reinstate interim regulations permitting major technology companies to identify and remove child sexual abuse material online, whilst maintaining protections for end-to-end encrypted messaging services.
