Freedom of Information Bill To Go Before Parliamentary Select Committee
Malaysia's government will refer the Freedom of Information Bill 2026 to a Parliamentary Select Committee, allowing MPs and stakeholders to scrutinise the proposed transparency legislation more thoroughly before proceeding to second reading.
