Intel commits €5 billion to expand AI chip production at Irish facility
Intel is investing €5 billion ($5.7 billion) to upgrade its manufacturing campus in Leixlip, Ireland, and expand European semiconductor production capacity to meet surging demand for AI and advanced computing chips. The investment will create several hundred jobs.
