Social Media Platforms Face Up to RM10 Million Penalties for Failing Age Verification Requirements
Malaysia's Communications Minister has warned social media platforms they risk penalties of up to RM10 million for failing to implement age verification mechanisms, with the government having held over 30 engagement sessions with major platforms since January.
