
Kia Recalls Over 20,000 EV9 Vehicles in US Over Airbag Safety Defect
South Korean carmaker Kia is recalling 21,290 vehicles in the United States over a critical airbag safety defect affecting certain 2025-2026 model-year EV9 models. The Occupant Detection System may fail to disable airbags when children or child seats are present.
