Singapore Court Fines Former PR S$9,000 for National Service Default
A former Singapore permanent resident has been fined S$9,000 for defaulting on national service obligations after leaving the country without a valid exit permit. You Jiahao, 23, was arrested in March 2025 upon returning to Singapore.
