Laos declares Luang Namtha disaster zone as border floods devastate 30 villages
Luang Namtha province in northern Laos was declared a disaster zone following severe flash flooding that inundated over 30 villages around the Laos-China border crossing at Boten, affecting farmland, schools, hospitals and a special economic zone.
