Japan's Fair Trade Commission raids six ice cream makers over alleged price-fixing cartel
Japan's competition watchdog has raided six leading ice cream manufacturers on suspicion of price-fixing. Officials suspect the firms coordinated price increases through emails and meetings since around 2022.
