Over 3,600 Citizenship Applications Stuck in Limbo in Sabah, Home Ministry Reveals
Malaysia's Home Ministry disclosed that 3,640 citizenship applications remain unresolved in Sabah as of May 2025. Only 10 have been approved, though late birth registration applications show better progress with 2,659 approved out of 3,270 filed.
