Malaysia Establishes National Tahfiz Council to Strengthen Religious Education Framework
Malaysia's federal government has approved the creation of a National Tahfiz Council to standardise Quranic memorisation education and establish clear progression routes from madrasah to tertiary institutions, with Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi appointed as chairman.
